About Kurt Chacon

I am a trained collaborative divorce attorney, and I encourage people to divorce differently. I chose the collaborative divorce process for my divorce. As a result, I moved my practice into the collaborative divorce space. In order to improve my client relationship skills, I became a certified divorce coach. That training allowed me to expand the services and support I can give to my clients. As a result of that training, I came to understand the need for emotional recovery after the marriage ends and the divorce is over. That is how I came to be trained to offer the Rebuilding Blocks of Healing seminar.

Why I do this

I am a child of divorce, a spouse of divorce, a parent of divorce, a collaborative divorce attorney and a divorce coach. I've seen divorce from just about every angle possible. I understand what you are going through. The emotion, the anxiety, grief, anger, fear, and worry about the future - and most of all, concern for your children. I understand how divorce can affect their lives. I've been there. I'm here to support you in your journey to divorce differently and minimize the effects of divorce on your children.

What I want for you

My commitment is that you find some measure of peace, compassion, and grace by a thorough and rigorous examination of the reality of your relationship, the reality of its ending, and your role in it and your emotions about it. Also, that you take those lessons into any and all relationships as the foundation for a stronger, deeper, and more loving connection to everyone in your life.

FAQS

What is life coaching, and how does it work?

Life coaching is a dynamic and collaborative process focused on helping individuals identify and achieve their personal and professional goals. It involves a series of one-on-one sessions with a trained life coach who provides guidance, support, and accountability. Coaches use a variety of techniques and tools to help clients gain clarity, set actionable goals, and develop strategies to overcome challenges. The coaching process is highly personalized, tailored to each individual's unique needs and aspirations, and it empowers clients to make positive changes in their lives.

How long does a typical coaching engagement last?

The duration of a coaching engagement can vary based on individual goals and needs. Some clients find value in a few sessions focused on specific issues or challenges, while others may engage in longer-term coaching to achieve more substantial personal or professional transformations.
